Our “plots”

1: Raised beds

From old horse troughs to traditional wood raised beds, we’re making use of what’s available. Watered with collected rain and municipal well water.

Current plantings: tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, strawberries, beans, asparagus, lettuce, carrots, onions, rosemary, basil, oregano, chives

2: Riverside

Planting at a lower elevation to tap into natural moisture of riparian soil and minimize municipal water dependency.

Current plantings: 8 varieties of heirloom tomatoes

3: Responsible foraging

Harvesting wildflowers and plants

Current finds: Dryad’s saddle, violets, black mustard, garlic mustard, Japanese Knotweed (aka Itadori), dames rocket, goldenrod
